SignalOME Lab Panels — Cascade Testing | Metabolic, Longevity, Fibrosis, Circadian & Epigenetic
Cascade lab testing · reference-lab orderable

Read the signal,
not the symptom.

Five signaling-cascade panels — every biomarker orderable today through standard reference labs. Map the network that drives the disease before it names itself.

Single draw · verify availability in your service area

The workflow

One draw. A map of the network.

Conventional labs read organs in isolation. SignalOME reads the signaling pattern upstream — the cascade that decides how the organ behaves.

01 / DRAW

Order & draw

A single blood draw at any patient service center, plus a salivary kit where a panel calls for it.

02 / MAP

Map the cascade

Each biomarker is mapped to its signaling network and read against optimization targets — tighter than the population reference range.

03 / MODULATE

Modulate

Your clinician selects high-leverage interventions that act on the dysregulated cascade — often hitting several networks at once.

The reference-lab panels

Each panel below is built entirely from biomarkers you can order through a standard reference lab — no specialty send-outs required. Order codes shown for the draw; verify for your service area before ordering.

Metabolic

Metabolic

PI3K-AKT-mTOR · growth arm

The nutrient and insulin sensor. Hyperactive in insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome and NAFLD — the anabolic pressure behind metabolic disease.

  • HbA1c
  • Fasting Insulin
  • Fasting Glucose
  • HOMA-IRcalculated
  • Triglycerides
  • LDL-Cvia lipid panel
  • HDL-Cvia lipid panel

Longevity

Longevity

AMPK-Sirtuin-NAD⁺ · energy + hormonal

The energy-deficit sensor that opposes mTOR and drives autophagy — read alongside the hormonal axes that decline with metabolic age.

  • Fasting Insulin
  • HOMA-IRcalculated
  • HDLvia lipid panel
  • Triglycerides
  • Testosterone (Free + Total)
  • Estradiol
  • TSH
  • Free T3

Circadian

Circadian

CLOCK/BMAL1 · diurnal rhythm

The master timing network that syncs peripheral clocks. Disrupted by shift work, jet lag and irregular eating — read through cortisol rhythm and thyroid axis.

  • Salivary Cortisol (4-pt)
  • TSH
  • Free T3
3 biomarkers Order
Epigenetic

Epigenetic

HDAC/DNMT · methylation status

Chromatin accessibility bridges metabolism to gene expression. Methylation cofactors and hormonal inputs surface epigenetic drift before it compounds.

  • Homocysteine
  • Vitamin B12
  • Testosterone
  • Estradiol

Fibrosis

Fibrosis

TGF-β/SMAD · tissue remodeling

The master fibrotic switch. When SMAD signaling tips toward the fibrotic arm, tissue lays down scar instead of repair. Read here through standard reference-lab hepatic and renal markers — all contained in the CMP.

  • ASTin CMP
  • ALTin CMP
  • GGT
  • Creatininein CMP

Why cascades

A normal panel can hide an early signal.

The same biomarkers, read two ways. Population ranges flag disease once it arrives. Cascade targets flag the pattern while it's still upstream.

Standard reference range

  • hs-CRP <3.0Anything under 3.0 mg/L reads as "normal" — even mid-range chronic signaling.
  • HbA1c <5.7Pre-diabetes only flags at 5.7%, well after insulin has been compensating for years.
  • Insulin <25A fasting insulin of 20 passes — while the mTOR growth arm runs hot.
  • Organ-by-organEach marker judged alone; no map of the network driving them.

SignalOME cascade target

  • hs-CRP <1.0The optimization target surfaces low-grade inflammatory signaling early.
  • HbA1c 5.0–5.4A tighter window catches metabolic drift before the pre-diabetes label.
  • Insulin <7Reads the growth-arm pressure while it's still reversible.
  • Network-firstMarkers are mapped to their cascade, so the pattern — not the isolated value — drives the plan.
Questions

Before you order

What is a SignalOME cascade panel?

A curated set of biomarkers mapped to one of ten interlinked cellular signaling networks. Instead of testing organs in isolation, each panel reads the upstream signaling pattern that drives a functional domain — such as the PI3K-AKT-mTOR growth axis or the AMPK-Sirtuin-NAD⁺ longevity axis.

Which panels can I order through a standard reference lab?

These five: Metabolic (PI3K-AKT-mTOR), Longevity (AMPK-Sirtuin-NAD⁺), Fibrosis (TGF-β/SMAD), Circadian (CLOCK/BMAL1), and Epigenetic (HDAC/DNMT). Every biomarker in them is orderable through a standard reference lab — no specialty send-outs. Order codes should be verified for your service area first.

Do I order every biomarker separately?

No. Bundled orders cut redundancy: the CMP already contains glucose, AST, ALT, creatinine and eGFR, and the lipid panel covers LDL, HDL and triglycerides. HOMA-IR and eGFR are calculated values, not separate draws.

Is a panel a diagnosis?

No. SignalOME is a clinical decision-support scaffold, not an FDA-cleared diagnostic ontology. Results are for educational and clinical-support purposes and should be interpreted by a licensed provider.
